The Lark Ascending Vase
Shape 75/10
Limited Edition of 350
Height: 10 inches
Artist:Philip Gibson
Status: In stock
He rises and begins to round,
He drops the silver chain of sound,
Of many links without a break,
In chirrup, whistle, slur and shake
Inspired by the poem by George Meredith and a piece of music by Ralph Vaughan-Williams, this vase is another of Philip Gibson's wild bird creations. Traditionally a bird found in steppe grassland, the Skylark can be discovered throughout the British Isles, sweeping across farmland meadows, commons and sand dunes. Often soaring to several hundred feet, the bird sustains its clear warbling song for several minutes, before sinking gradually to the ground, still singing it distinctive song. Truly a pleasure to hear and see, his flight is re-enacted around the circumference of the beautifully done vase.

River of Dreams Vase
Shape 121/14
Limited Edition of 350
Height: 14 inches
Artist: Sarah Cowan
Status: In Stock
This beautiful vase was inspired by the Japanese-style bridge that French Impressionist artist, Claude Monet, built in his garden in Giverny. The original bridge was built over a pond by diverting a local river. Monet depicted this pond tirelessly in his paintings until 1926. The garden non-constrained asymmetries and interesting curves contain an abundance of weeping willows, bamboo, wisterias and other colorful flowers. His garden continues to provide inspiration to 21st century artists as is evidant in Sarah's innovative design. It features flag irises and other riverbank plants, creating a surreal image that is both dramatic and pleasing to the eye.

Scarlet Cloud Vase
Shape 398/14
Limited Edition of 300
Height: 14 inches
Artist: Rachel Bishop
Status: In Stock
Over the ages, red poppies have been a symbol of fertility and the eternal cycle of death and rebirth. The Assyrians called them - the daughters of the field- and for the Romans they were the sacred plant of their crop goddess Ceres. Poppies probably reached Britain mixed up with the corn seed of the first Neolithic settlers. In the late middle ages they were called corn roses and because of their profusion on Flanders Field in the First World War, they have come to symbolize Remembrance. Brightly coloured wild poppies set against a vibrant blue summer sky create a scarlet cloud in this stunning limited edition vase by Rachel Bishop.
