Quiet Waters
Inspiration for Quiet Waters was taken from the red and white Shubunkins that swim in Philip's garden pond. Known in Japanese as Kohaku (due to their color) these fish swim in famous temple carp ponds in the city of Kyoto. Philip has worked the fish into a design image that includes both slow moving water and water flowers.
