Shipping
We have tried to hold our shipping costs down but with the UPS and Postal increases in 2007 we have had to make a minimum charge of $7.00 for orders under $50.00 that are shipped in the mainland US. Orders over $50.00 ship free.
Continental US Shipping Costs
UPS Ground - $7.00 anywhere in the continental US for orders under $50.00.
UPS Ground - FREE anywhere in the continental US for orders over $50.00.
UPS 3 Day Select - At actual cost which depends on Size and Weight
UPS 2 Day Air - At actual cost which depends on Size and Weight
USPS Next Day Service - At actual cost, which depends on the Weight. Please call us if you would like us to ship overnight.
If you choose 3-Day Select, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Service for US Shipments, the costs will be added when we process your order. These charges will not be calculated by our automatic server but are done manually when we pack each order as they depend more on the size of the box and where you live than on the actual weight. To give you an idea of the average costs for those services. A medium teapot or teaset sent to the East coast costs @ $20.00 for 3 Day and $26.00 for 2 day.
The same set sent to the West coast cost @ $16.00 for 3 day and $22.00 for 2 Day. You can see that it pays to plan ahead on your purchases and ship by ground in the US. We understand that is not always possible and we will do what we can to expedite those last minute purchases.
Outside the Continental US Shipping Costs
Alaska, Hawaii and APOs - USPS Priority Mail at cost.
Canada - USPS Air Parcel Post, USPS Express Mail Service (EMS), or UPS Ground at cost.
International Orders - USPS Express Mail Service (EMS) at cost. We will send you a price quote before we ship Internationally. Please be aware that you could end up paying duty when your package is delivered.
