Years ago I saw a black lab being trained for field work and I was quite impressed. Never have I seen a happier dog in pursuit of the lures. If dogs can have Zen qualities I would say he was one with his work. It made for a memorable afternoon.
This figure captures his strength and love of the outdoors. If he were standing in water he would have bliss indeed.

This figure captures my feelings about setters as they never seem to be still but are happiest moving forward. The energy I had at 15 can relate to this piece and you will be somewhat uplifted having him on your desk.

Who better to hold a sheep so protectively than a border collie who is a gatherer by nature. I like this piece a lot as it morphs not only the dog but the occupation as well.

Danes indeed rejoice to be so well represented by this Viking figure. Leaning on his ax he contemplates a quick trip to England.

The Old English Sheepdog is one of the most ancient of British working breeds and has become one of the most instantly reconizable breeds of dog in the world and one of the most popular show dogs. He deserves his role as Mayor and what worthier city than London.

Alert, gay, courageous and self-reliant, but friendly or so the Kennel Club would like him to be and I think this figure does the breed justice.
