Durham Cathedral
Limited Edition of 650
by Lilliput Lane artist, Gary Todd, Illuminated
Durham
North East & Yorkshire
Height: 13.5cm Length: 27.0cm
Durham’s cathedral is considered to be one of
the finest examples of a Norman cathedral
anywhere in Europe and since 1986 has been a
UNESCO designated World Heritage Site along
with neighbouring Durham Castle. Gary Todd
has painstakingly reproduced much of the fine
Norman and later Perpendicular Gothic details,
as well as the replica medieval sanctuary
knocker of the north porch door (the original is
displayed with the Treasures of St Cuthbert)
and, of course, the beautiful Rose Window.

Our beautiful nostalgic scene has been inspired by Hunsett Mill, near Stalham, Norfolk, and truly captures the atmosphere and tranquility of a bygone era. Built in 1860 from locally-made red bricks it ran two scoop wheels and has to be one of the most photographed of all of Norfolk's mills.
