Lakeland manufactured all its diverse ranges of hand made products in its well equipped studios in Maryport, on the west coast of Cumbria, just outside the United Kingdoms beautiful Lake District National Park. Marketed under the Fraser Creations name this is a superb range of mainly British famous castles, lighthouses, buildings and landmarks known throughout the world for their quality of detail and precise reproduction in miniature.

Fraser Creations is stopped its production in the UK and moved its line to the far east so these are the last of their models we can offer you made in the UK. We have both the Lakelands production as well as the new pieces from the far east. Origin is marked for each item.

Micklegate Bar was previously known as 'Mickleith' meaning Great Gate. It is York's southern and main entrance to the city, spanning the old London Road. The present structure is largely the 12th century stone replacement of an earlier wooden Norman gate.
