of the vernacular style of the area around the Hampshire village of
Fordingbridge. The Latin name for Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis)
translates as: (ros) 'dew' (marinus) 'of the sea'.

and features square timber framing with arch braces and a steeply-pitched tiled
