Welcome to the Lets Play Series
To begin with, I would like to introduce to you Lets Play a range of animal figurines inspired by one of Adams cats, Breeze, rescued as a kitten from a neighbouring dairy farm.
Each piece is of two animals playing together just as Breeze did with a rabbit in the piece Adam did called Kissing Breeze.

This is an absolutely wonderful piece that the preview pictures didn't do justice to. I have rephotographed it and my pictures still are short of reality. Holding the piece brings home just how well done it is. Flowing design that wraps the toad and newt around a single leaf. The colors are rich and saturated. To my thinking this is Adams best piece to date.

In Adams Words-Inspired by a holiday in South Africa to visit Lisa's brother. During our Trip, we stayed for a few days at a remote Guest House at the foot of the Drakensburg Mountains. To our delight, we were greeted by a pack of Jack Russells (Nimrod) followed swiftly by an Otter (Orbit).

In Adams Words-
A carving inspired simply by my enjoyment of carving frogs and my curious fascination with Geckos, which I hadn't yet carved. I thought two of my favourite animals playing reptile hide'n'seek or a game of tree top tag would make a good carving. An intense piece to carve, it was great fun.

In Adams Words-
Halcyon Plays was inspired by a rare sighting of a young Kingfisher near my home. I was out walking the Dogs when I glimpsed a flash of turquoise as it swooped across the surface of the water and landed on a perch not ten feet from me. This made me wonder about the playful nature of a fledgling Kingfisher and consequent underwater chases with various river life

In Adams Words-
I was watching a documentary about marine wildlife, there was this wonderful moment when a young seal and penguin, natural adversaries, played briefly together. This inspired me to carve this moment of youthful innocence. I became completely caught up in the fluidity and motion of the piece and mused the possible emotions felt by each character.

Inspired by one of our cats, Breeze, rescued as a kitten from a neighbouring dairy farm. We were immediately aware that he was special. His ability to make peace with every animal he encounters is remarkable, from calming an aggressive Jack Russell to gaining the trust of the baby rabbits Lisa hand raised last summer.
